PixelForge

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 28, 2026

1. Core Privacy Architecture: Zero Upload Guarantee

PixelForge is engineered around a strict “Zero-Upload” privacy model. All file operations — including image resizing, cropping, compression, color adjustment, background removal, drawing, format conversion, and export — are executed locally in your browser memory via the HTML5 Canvas API and client-side JavaScript.

What this means for you:

  • Your photos are never uploaded to any remote server or cloud database.
  • Your image data is never saved or indexed by PixelForge.
  • No employee, server administrator, or third party can ever view your files.

2. Information Collection & Usage

Because PixelForge functions entirely on your local device, we do not require account registration, passwords, email addresses, or personal identity details to use our image editing tools.

  • Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or sell personal identifying information.
  • Local Storage: We may use browser localStorage solely to save your local UI preferences (such as Light/Dark theme mode and cookie consent preferences). This data remains strictly inside your browser.

3. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising Disclosures

PixelForge uses Google AdSense to serve advertisements on our web pages. To comply with Google AdSense Publisher Policies, we disclose the following advertising practices:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites on the internet.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to PixelForge and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Alternatively, users can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

4. Cookies and Web Beacons

PixelForge itself does not set tracking or profiling cookies. However, third-party services integrated on our site (such as Google AdSense or privacy-focused analytics like Cloudflare Web Analytics) may use cookies or web beacons to collect non-personal aggregate statistics (such as browser type, general geography, page views, and referrer URLs) to optimize ad delivery and performance.

5. GDPR Compliance (EU / UK Data Subject Rights)

If you are located within the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you hold specific rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Right of Access & Eradication: Since we store zero personal data or images on servers, there is no personal profile or uploaded data to access or delete. Clearing your browser data immediately removes any local site preferences.
  • Consent Control: You have full control over cookie preferences via your browser settings or our cookie consent notification.

6. CCPA / CPRA Compliance (California Resident Rights)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

  • We do not sell personal information of consumers.
  • We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising without consent.
  • California consumers have the right to request information regarding data collection disclosures, which are fully set forth in this policy.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

PixelForge is a general audience utility tool and is compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13.

8. Policy Updates & Contact

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted directly on this page with an updated effective date.
